Went on an adventure to spotlight the other day. Went for over locker thread and came home with a little collection. found some beautiful fabric but what to do with it.

place mats

Last night i said that i thought my place mat project would be a work in progress i was wrong.

Today I sat down and got started and with in approx 2 hours I had finished 4 red and white striped place mats with charcoal backing.

This is my first ever post!!

Wow iv never written a blog before so here goes, I finally finished a beautiful batch of simple bibs from the bend the rules sewing by Amy Karol OMG i love that book! will post some picks when i learn how to.

Over the next couple of days i plan to attempt to create some place mats and if there's enough fabric left maybe come matching coasters. This will be a work inprogress i can tell.
