sewing.
Some paid sewing work came my way yesterday. The lovely lady next door has gotten me to her hemming and has asked me to transform a dress that is to big for her daughter into a long peasant style skirt. Pants have been hemmed just need to transfor the dress into a skirt. Happy sewing. :-)

utensils
Steve as complaining about not having a utensil holder in the kitchen so i found a old Milo tin and used double sided sticky tape and come retro red and white fat quarter i had and wola a awesome utensil holder.
surprise.
what a great surprise to find a large post bag from my mum on our front porch when i got back from doing a op shop stalk yesterday. when i opened it i found inside a set of silicone kitchen utensils and two very retro aprons that were my grandmothers how cool to have a bit of her with me in Queensland.
When my uncle was doing some cleaning at my grandpas place he came across a letter that's over 10 years old because it was written by me when i was in primary school. written on old yellow lined paper in grey led, man it was very funny as i was asking about all the pet cows and sheep we kept as kids.

new stuff
To put a stop to the requests by Lady bug Cat, i have finally gotten off my bum and have taken pictures of some of the other projects i have completed over the last couple of weeks.

Over the next couple of days i plan to attempt to create some place mats and if there's enough fabric left maybe come matching coasters. This will be a work inprogress i can tell.
